Dear Sir/Madam, This letter is to extend an invitation to join a public protest being organised by the Aam Aadmi Party – Pune on 4th August 2025, against what we believe to be illegal and unjustified permissions granted by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for large-scale tree cutting in critical zones of the city. This is not a symbolic issue. Based on official documentation, RTI responses, and site inspections, we believe there have been violations of the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975, including serious procedural lapses. We have attached the relevant documents and evidence for your independent review and judgment.
